On your Yahoo mail, bulk mail goes to the Trash folder unless you empty the trash folder before the time limit runs out, i.e., 1 month or a different time spam. Go to the Trash folder and Move it to the Inbox.
Reply:According to Yahoo Help, emails deleted from any folder will go to the Trash folder EXCEPT from the Bulk folder. Emails deleted from Bulk folder are gone immediately, bypassing the Trash folder altogether.

You will have to download and install a zipping program that will compress the photos into one file.





A good program can also turn the zip file into a self extracting file, that only needs to be double clicked on at the receivers end to automatically extract the files back to the original form.





I use Win Zip, but you have to pay for it after a short trial period. You should be able to find several good freeware versions out there.





Keep in mind that all email programs have a limit to how large a file you can send, and that the email program at the other end may have a smaller limit. You may have to send several files with some of the photos in each. It will depend on how small they can be compressed by the zipping program.

If Gmail forwards your mail keeping the original sender's address in the "From" field, you can't unless you create an extra Yahoo! address.





But if it changes the sender's address to your Gmail address, then you can create a filter in Yahoo! Mail with the following rule:





If From contains "yourusername@gmail.com" Then Move message to YourFolder folder





Next possibility: in your free Yahoo! Mail account, you can create one extra email address. Set your Gmail account to forward to this address and create a filter in your Yahoo! Mail account like this:

Reply:Why would you need to? AOL is web based e mail and when you sign on, you still have the same folders! You must have created a new account which was absolutely unnecessary.

Make sure it is checked in your Mail Options. Yahoo is having a lot of problems it is affecting peoples email in different ways. It might have messed up your sent so just check and make sure it is still set on save sent emails.

Go to "Special Folders"


Click on "Save your sent messages in the Sent Items folder"

I've never tried to send a folder through messenger, but I'd recommend you zip the folder


(right click on the folder, "send to", "compressed (zipped) folder")


then send that to your friend.





As for why it's not letting you send / recieve photos - it could be that your friend has a different version and they don't work together well. It could be a setting, or it could be that both you and your friend are trying to send folders which may not be allowed.

if you have a mail plus account, the limit is 20mb. But keep in mind, yahoo! has much bigger attachment size limits than most. So unless the recipient is another y! account, it's likely to get rejected.





you could zip the folder, like the above answer suggests, but some mail accounts reject .zip files due to security. You can also probably use the "quick select" tool and upload several files at once (or a whole folder if small music files), if you're using IE.

Go into the spam box and check mark the item you wish to keep. Click on the 'Not spam' button and it will be returned to your in box, also allowing that address to be delivered to the in box from now on. However, go in periodically and check to insure all items are spam.
Reply:Lyn has it but missed out on a couple of points.





Firstly, you could set a filter to automatically delete junk from facebook and save cluttering up the spam folder.





Secondly, email from facebook probably uses a proxy from address which you can add to your address book so that messages default to inbox instead of spam.. Unfortunately, this also means yahoo cant differentiate your friends from other facebook junk.

Doing this will let Yahoo know that you want to receive Emails from this person so that the Emails will go to your Inbox Folder instead of your Bulk Folder.

Reply:Yes, you can click on it and do the not spam thing, but if it happens with other mail ,and gets annoying, you can change the settings on your yahoo account. There is a filter, with 3 settings if it is on the highest if it even detects spam it won't come to you at all, if it is on the middle setting it will send anything that it thinks is spam to your bulk (probably what it is on now) and if you put it on the lowest it will send everything to your inbox, but will put a sign next to anything that it thought was spam. You won't get anything in your bulk though. So, it kinda depends on what setting it is on and what setting you want it to be on. :)

you can not be logged into two seperate Yahoo accounts at the same time from a single computer.
Reply:To change your homepage, when you are on your browser page (AOL homepage) click on Tools and then Internet Options. Under the General tab, the first area is titled homepage. Type in www.yahoo.com or http://yahoo.com and click OK. Your homepage is now Yahoo. The only way I know to look at both email addys is to open two browser pages and toggle between them.

Open the inbox, click View All Messages, then click unread messages, if you have any on the last page as late arrivals or in folders they will show. Otherwise Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear on it's own. It's mostly been happening in the classic mail since yahoo has been upgrading the classic mail. It cleared for the rest of us.

Why don't you just turn on your sent folder, to save copies of all sent items ?

Reply:You can use iTunes to rip your CD. Just run iTunes and insert the CD into your drive - it should ask if you want to add the CD to your library.





Keep in mind that music files are BIG. I can pretty much guarantee you that if you zip up a whole album's worth, it will bounce when you try to e-mail it. You'll need to send them one or two songs at a time.





And there's no real point in zipping the files. MP3s and other music files are already compressed, so zipping them doesn't make them much - if any - smaller.

* Type the sender's name under Filter Name.


* Enter the desired sender's email address under From header: contains.


* Make sure match case is not checked.


* Under Move the message to:, select the desired target folder from the - Choose Folder - drop-down menu. (NB: If you have not yet created a folder for the contact, select [New Folder].)


* Click Add Filter.


* If you selected [New Folder], type the desired name of the folder (often the name of the correspondent) under Please enter a name for your folder. and click OK.

Most deleted messages go to the Trash folder. Check there if the messages were deleted recently. If you already emptied the Trash folder, those messages are permanently erased and cannot be recovered as Yahoo mail is a web based service.





If you delete messages from the Bulk/Spam folder, they do not! go to the Trash folder. Instead they are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
Reply:First of all go to the trash bin, open prior to emptying it, and restore the ones that you may have deleted, but changed your mind.





However, if you already emptied your trash bin, you have sent deleted messages to cyberspace heaven or hell.





Just be careful in the future prior to deleting anything.





Also, you can place questionable e-mails in a folder and mark it with "?" Go back to your folder with the "?", periodically and double check whether you want to keep or really delete.

Click it as Not Spam and Yahoo will remember that.

Just in case you dont know how to zip a folder: (Assuming its a windows machine)


1) Right click on the folder


2) choose option to zip the folder


3) foldername.zip file will be created and you can attach the same to your email.





Your intended mail recipient can unzip the folder and have access to the files.

-as the message is sent


-if it's sent to this person, or group or whatever

But it sounds like you have an idea of where you want the messages to go.
